Note:

• The thermostat must be kept in good technical condition, otherwise it will seriously affect the normal operation of the engine.
• The main valve of the thermostat is opened too late, which will cause the engine to overheat;
• The main valve is opened too early to extend the engine warm-up time and make its temperature too low;

 

Removing the Old Thermostat

• Wait for the engine to cool down and remove the cover of the radiator
• Place a drip tray under the drain plug of the radiator.
• Drain half of the coolant from the drain valve of the radiator.
• Loosen the thermostat housing.
• Pull out the old thermostat.

Installing the New Thermostat

• Get a replacement thermostat and gasket with the same heat rating.
• Remove any residue from the housing and engine flange.
• Place the thermostat on the engine flange with the valve facing upwards.
• Align the new thermostat gasket on the flange.
• Bolt the housing to the engine again.

Refilling the Coolant

• Pour the coolant into the reservoir up to the fill line.
• Screw on the radiator cap and seal it.
• Start the vehicle engine and allow the coolant to flow through the system.
• After the engine has cooled down again, fill up the coolant.

 

 

Warranty:

• The warranty period of this product is one year. If there is a failure due to manufacturing defects during use during the warranty period, please contact us in time.
